Magellan has produced several editions of our own traditional chocolate advent calendars as part of our annual festive gifting initiative. Designed to strengthen relationships with clients, showcase our creative capability, and demonstrate the versatility of seasonal branded products, these calendars brought together UK-made packaging, premium chocolate, and engaging design.

All chocolates and packaging were manufactured in the UK within the same facility, ensuring consistent quality and complete control over production timelines. The solid milk chocolates are suitable for halal and kosher diets, making the calendars an inclusive gifting option for a broad audience of clients and partners.

Classic Black & Gold Branding Concept

The first edition embraced a clean, minimalist aesthetic rooted in our core brand style. A matte black background paired with gold numbering created a refined, premium look, while white text highlighted the key creative and production services we offer. This edition was created to feel timeless — a simple, elegant advent calendar that doubled as a subtle introduction to our capabilities.

The result was a beautifully understated piece of branded packaging that clients could enjoy throughout December, keeping Magellan front of mind in a way that felt both festive and professional.

Festive Bauble Design With Integrated Engagement

For the next edition, we evolved the calendar with a more expressive, seasonal design. This version featured large decorative baubles set within a snowy Christmas scene, offering a warmer, more festive tone compared to the previous minimalist style.

To enhance interaction, we included a matching printed card and added a QR code to guide recipients directly to our website. This transformed the calendar into an interactive touchpoint, extending the brand experience beyond the physical product.
